Advice There are so many possible options with this ability is not even funny. Even though this was meant to be the races' last defense mechanism, it can also be used for regular based war. Just use your imagination. Using Ancient Protectors is more complicated than once thought. To make a wall of Ancient protectors its wise to have two lines of them, in the front line you want to uproot them for close range attack, and in the back keep the protectors rooted for long range attack. Not only can uprooted ancient buildings attack, they have an ability called "Eat Tree" which allows the building to consume a tree, giving hp to the uprooted building.
Advice I'll tell you right now, this ability is perfect for ambushes. Just set up all your long ranged elves, wait for the right moment, then strike! ( Setting up ambushes right outside an enemies base is even better )
Advice This is good I suppose to let your units have more of a stealthy advantage, but don't research it in the early stages of the game or it'll set you back.
Advice This is perfect for hit-and-run tactics. For example, setting up a few moon wells near an enemy base, then striking with your force and quickly retreating for health, then striking back, until your enemy fades.
The night elves have the mose unique and fastest way of gathering resources. When harvesting a gold mine, it must first be entangled, after doing so, wisp may be placed upon the gold mine to circle around it, instantly giving you resources after each cycle. When wisp harvest lumber, they go to a tree, and encircle it over and over, giving you lumber every cycle without harming the trees. Advice You get resources fast, what else is there to say? -Overall Summary- The Night Elves only place their motives to mobility, ranged firepower, and magic/spellcraft. They don't show as much brute force and physical power, but their entire format makes up for this. |
